HRH Prince Paul of Romania was the Guest of Honor for the first ever Polo Match in Romania. His Highness was undeterred by the torrential like rain that delayed the match for several of hours. At the press conference he mentioned that: “It seems that a good downpour is becoming part of the Polo experience. Only last weekend I was a guest at the charity match held by Ham Polo Club and it was also almost canceled because of the rain. But we Polo lovers, proceed undaunted.”
The president of SELAS Golf & Polo Club, Catalin Narcis Beciu, had invited international Match players and spectators from Argentina, Germany, Great Britain, etc.
