As they had promised during their summer visit, the most talented four pupils and the high school “Elena Ghiba Birta” were given prizes with a total amount of 5,000 €.
It had an emotional value for Princess Lia to offer these prizes in memory of her late mother, whom had, for 25 years, a musical program on the radio for the Romanian Diaspora in the United States and Canada, and certificates, once again, the musical performances of these talented young people.
The passion for music, culture, art in general was graved in Princess Lia’s heart, in her childhood. This is why Their Royal Highnesses considered the best Christmas present for these talented young people to be a prize as recognition for all of their efforts and hard work during the year.
