The attending of Prince Paul and Princess Lia of Romania at the Blood Donor’s Day

On June the 18th 2005 in Children’s Palace Park in Bucharest the Red Cross along side City Hall organized a charitable show to honor Blood Donating Day.

The show was opened by the chairman of Red Cross,Venera Vasiliu joined by Mihaela Steriu,chairman of Red Cross Romania.
Mrs. Vasiliu after pointing the importance of the event,asked Princess Lia and Prince Paul to go on the stange.

Princess Lia who was involved in the activities of Red Cross USA after the earthquake in San Francisco in 1989,showed her appreciated the work or Red Cross Romania.Her Majesty mentioned the fundraisers from Great Britain that she attended,making a similarity between the two countries.

The manifestation continued with a show by the Children’s Palace bands,Teacher Gabriela Botan,leader of the School nr. 98th Choire,which  interpreted the hymn of that day,special composed by Liviu Voicu,with the accompany  of Zsolt and Andrew Kerestely,Vitali Dumitru from Republic of Moldova,the lead-singer of the Roman Opera in Brasov,the Choire from the Conservatoire from Targoviste,RBA record company,Ethnic,Haiducii and Blink-Blink bands.

The audience made up from people of all ages and social status participated enthuasticly,enjoying the show by long clapping and cheering.
