The inauguration of the National Arena was the moment everyone waited for. TRH Prince Paul and Princess Lia of Romania attended the event on the 6th of September. The first game on the new stadium was disputed between the Romanian national team and the French national team.
The event was special not only because of the good game the players offered. Many personalities came to celebrate the moment. Among them was FIFA President Mr. Sepp Blatter, Romanian Football Federation President Mircea Sandu, General Mayor of Bucharest Sorin Oprescu , General Marin Dragnea and former international player and coach Gheorghe Hagi.
