TRH Prince Paul and Princess Lia of Romania celebrate the folklore with the people from Arges. Saturday, 06.09.2008, Prince Paul and Princess Lia were guests of honor at Pitesti, to celebrate the folklore with people from Arges. At the invitation from the Prefecture of Arges, Their Royal Highness gladly accepted to take part in the Romanian traditions and to encourage young men not to lose their rich cultural inheritance. Princess Lia had a love for folklore even since childhood. Even though she was born and raised in America, Princess Lia was surrounded her whole life by the beautiful Romanian traditions. Her mother had years in a row a radio show specially for the Romanian community from USA and Canada.
She attended all the romanian shows that were held across the ocean, she got involved in getting the Ciocarlia group to concert the Romanian community. In childhood, Princess Lia even took folk dances and participated in contests. In conclusion, her presence at the Arges Festival is, not only a great pleasure but also a bond with her childhood memories.
